Maison & Objet 2024 in Paris celebrated its 30th anniversary with the theme "Tech Eden," embodying a re-enchanted future where technology and nature coexist harmoniously. The landmark event, known for setting the pace in the home décor, design, and lifestyle sectors, embarked on a journey showcasing the symbiosis of innovation and natural elements across interior architecture, retail, and hospitality. The theme was a continuation of the previous year's "Enjoy!" focusing on futuristic biophilia and well-being, aiming to inspire professionals to merge aesthetic and environmental approaches in spatial design.
This year’s theme encouraged a dialogue on sustainability, integrating science with nature to project into a sustainable, desirable future. The fair featured immersive experiences, inviting visitors to explore new paradigms in living and working spaces. Special attention was given to the home as a soothing cocoon, adapting to remote work and digital advancements, and the hospitality sector was reimagined as an escape pod, offering biophilic, immersive experiences.
